When you visit the Platform, we automatically collect technical data including your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, pages viewed, and interaction data such as searches performed, filters applied, and properties viewed. This data is collected via cookies and similar technologies.
Information from Third Parties
We receive identity and profile information from our authentication provider (Clerk) when you sign in. Location-related queries are processed via the Google Maps Platform when you use our location search features.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate the Platform — including displaying property listings, processing searches, enabling account features, and facilitating communication with agents.
- To authenticate your identity and keep your account secure against unauthorised access and fraud.
- To communicate with you about your account, saved listings, and — where you have opted in — about new properties and services.
- To analyse usage patterns, diagnose issues, and continuously improve the Platform’s functionality and user experience.
- To meet applicable legal and regulatory obligations under the laws of the State of Qatar and other relevant jurisdictions.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
Service Providers
We engage third-party providers who process data on our behalf, including Clerk (authentication), Google (maps and location), and cloud infrastructure providers. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
Property Agents and Owners
When you express interest in a property or request contact, relevant details may be shared with the responsible agent or property owner to facilitate that communication.
Legal Compliance
We may disclose information where required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority, including under the laws of the State of Qatar.
Business Transfers
If Hudhud is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction with equivalent privacy protections applied.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Essential Cookies
Required for the Platform to function correctly, including session management and locale preferences. These cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality.

5. Third-Party Services
Authentication — Clerk
We use Clerk to manage user accounts and sign-in flows. When you register or authenticate, Clerk processes your identity data in accordance with their Privacy Policy available at clerk.com/privacy.
Mapping — Google Maps Platform
We use Google Maps JavaScript API and Google Places API for location search and interactive map features. Your location queries are processed by Google under Google’s Privacy Policy available at policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide our services. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements. Aggregated, anonymised usage data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement purposes.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encrypted transmission (TLS/HTTPS) and access controls. No system is completely secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
